Zayn Malik is turning to Adele for anxiety advice
After opening up about his anxiety issues following the cancellation of his Capital Summertime Ball gig, admitting it caused the worst anxiety of his career, Zayn Malik is apparently turning to the Adele for advice.
Sources have revealed that Zayn has been struggling with anxiety his entire career, even when he was in One Direction, and his management are doing everything they can to help.
An industry source told the Sunday Mirror, "Zayn's management are doing everything they can to help him because its having a major impact on his career.
"I believe she been in touch with Adele's manager Johnathan Dickins about it because Adele got a lot of help with panic attacks and stage fright - and look at her now.
"They're pulling in people who can help him because he can overcome this and if he's going to stay in music and singing he absolutely has to get it under control. After the issue last weekend it has become a matter of urgency."
In an interview a few years ago, Adele opened up about her anxiety, "I have anxiety attacks, constant panicking on stage, my heart feels like it’s going to explode because I never feel like I’m going to deliver, ever."
Adele has been absolutely killing it lately, so hopefully her advice can help Zayn overcome his fears and continue delivering awesome music and performances!
According to the source, Zayn's anxiety was a major factor in his decision to leave 1D. "During One Direction's tours Zayn used to see the crowd and melt. He'd sweat, moan, complain, and he had to have a smoke, and a few beers beforehand to calm him.
"I'm sure that was a big factor in his decision to leave One Direction. He woke up one morning and just could no longer deal with the fear. He pulled out of Graham Norton because he was bloody terrified. He told me so himself. Touring and appearances was always his least favourite thing."
We hope Adele's advice can help Zayn get through it all.
We believe in you, Z!
