Nim Murphy, a 27-year-old Sydney woman believes she’s unfit for work due to her 12HH-sized breasts.
In fact the struggle was so epic, Nim was forced to quit her laboursome job as a roadie after enduring excruciating neck and back pain.
Speaking to A Current Affair Nim said, “I had to call in sick because I got out the front door and started vomiting in my front yard just from the pain and so I had to stop working.” Things are so bad; the ex roadie is now relying on Centrelink payments to live.
Nim says she feels like her life is on hold and her only hope is undertaking a breast reduction surgery, “everything feels like it’s on pause until I feel like it can happen.”
Nim doesn’t have private health insurance, nor the cash to fund it, so the Sydney sider is forced to hang tight on a waiting list for the surgery, which can take up to a few years.
Her agony is intensified by her neck injury, a reversal of the lordotic curvature. “Instead of curving forwards, my spine curves back in my neck. I get migraines, I’ve got constant shoulder and neck pain,” she explained.
Twitter has gone into overdrive after the story was aired this week, with ACA followers saying Nim "should get a second job".
"The girl ran upstairs with heavy bags in each hand. Give society a break from ppl abusing our system," one follower said.
Another follower tweeted, "lame excuse for not getting a job."
Women around the country suffer neck, back and shoulder pain as a result of large breasts and are in no financial position to get the reduction surgery.
