Yes, the rumours are true, Space Jam 2 is actually happening with LeBron James!
Rumours have been floating around for far too long, even back to when Kobe Bryant was in his hay day. But it seems like they’ve finally been confirmed!
The original film, released in 1996 earned $230.4 million worldwide. It was an instant cult classic so we're surprised its taken this long for someone to jump on the sequel!
There must be a heap of 90s kids dying to relive Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny shooting some intergalactic hoops!
According to an exclusive report at The Hollywood Reporter the sequel will be directed by Justin Lin, who is famous for directing ‘Fast & Furious 6” and “Star Trek Beyond”.
The same report also claims that LeBron James and his company SpringHill Entertainment signed a deal with Warner Bros in prep for this role. This, together with the James's hilarious performance in Trainwreck, has got us hella excited for his return to the screen in Space Jam 2.
