Our Sweet Guide To Doing Cabo Like A Celeb
Mexico’s the first vacay option for the Kardashian-Jenners, Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Alba and Selena Gomez, just to name a few. Who’s ready for a margarita? We suggest throwing LA into the mix – it’s only a little more than three hours flying distance.
Stay here...
Infinity pool + swim-up bar + margaritas + fit-for-royalty service + ocean breezes + unspoilt oceanfront + more margaritas = The Cape. The rooms are the stuff dreams are made of, and the rooftop bar is perf for knocking back those margaritas I mentioned. If you can tear yourself away from the poolside cabanas, get a massage by the ocean for ultimate holiday-indulgence vibes. I’ve done it. It’s life changing.
OR, stay here if you’re a baller...
Muchos celeb vibes: Jennifer Aniston, Gwyneth Paltrow and even George Clooney have stayed here. It’s ultimate luxury in a bottle, but with traditional Mexican touches – including sombreros (win). The restaurant, Cocina Del Mar, hangs over a cliff and serves up some of the region’s tastiest, freshest food, with a side of unmatched views and romantic feels – even without George. Oh, did I mention the resort has its own private beach? Yep.
Eat here...
TACOS, amiright? Three words: Los Tres Gallos. It’s an authentic Mexican joint that serves dishes produced from recipes passed down from generation to generation that even the locals love. They offer seven types of traditional margaritas and, FYI, they don’t bat an eyelid if you decide to order one in each flavour. Or two. Whatever.

Ride horses at Cuadra San Francisco
Horseriding along the coast: Do it. You can choose either the beach or the dry, dusty trails that zigzag up the hills – which is what I went for. Yes, being out there in the blazing sun was hotter than sculling the local chilli sauce; but the sweeping views of the incredible coastline are 100 per cent worth it. Ask your hotel for the nearest ranch.
