When news broke of Johnny Depp’s alleged domestic violence of estranged wife Amber Heard, fans around the world took to social media in outrage.
While the 52-year-old actor has yet to face court, the public opinion has been quite vocal on both sides.
After Amber filed for a restraining order against her dad, Lily-Rose took to Instagram to let the world know that he is "the sweetest."
"My dad is the sweetest, most loving person I know," she wrote. "He's been nothing but a wonderful father to my little brother and I, and everyone who knows him would say the same."
TBH, Lily-Rose has every right to stand up for her dad, and he may very well be a sweet father, but we are in no position to assume he is innocent or that Amber is making anything up simply because his daughter believes it's true.
Johnny's daughter isn't the only one who's had an opinion about the situation. In fact, Lily's mum Vanessa Paradis, 43, who who dated Depp from 1998 to 2012 told that TMZ he is "sensitive" and "loving".
"Johnny Depp is the father of my two children, he is a sensitive, loving and loved person, and I believe with all my heart that these recent allegations being made are outrageous," she wrote in an open letter to the celebrity news site.
"In all the years I have known Johnny, he has never been physically abusive with me and this looks nothing like the man I lived with for 14 wonderful years."
