Khloe Kardashian has opened up about "letting go" days after estranged husband Lamar Odom was spotted drinking with friends at Johnny O'Brien's pub in L.A.
Keep in mind, Khloe's been supporting Lamar since he was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel last year, after ingesting an almost lethal mix of drugs and alcohol. Supporting her ex since his hospitalisation last October, the reality star even called off their impending divorce to show how devoted she was to her ex-partner.
However now, 31-year-old Khlo's penned a heartbreaking note on Instagram, which proves she might be ready to move on (and we all just want to give her a giant hug because it's so sad).
"It doesn't matter how loyal you are to someone," she posted. "You can't change someone's heart and bad habits unless they want to themselves.
"We have to learn to stop taking on peoples problems as if they are our own. Loving people does not mean we have to carry their burdens and confusions on our back. Sadly, You can only express your opinion on a situation.
"You can't love someone into loving you (God I wish it were that easy). You can’t force someone to be loyal, kind, understanding. You can’t force someone to be the person you need them to be. Even if it's for their own good!! Sometimes the person you want most is the person you’re best without.
"Don’t put your happiness on hold for someone (family, friend, partner) who isn’t holding on to you. A Girl once told me… Be careful when trying to fix a broken person. For you may cut yourself on their shattered pieces."
According to a source, the pics of Lamar boozing have sent the Kardashian clan over the edge. "Khloe and the family are concerned that Lamar could go back to his old ways," the insider told US Weekly.
Stay strong, Khlo.
