Kendall Jenner is seriously hot property right now, and she knows it. In case you missed it, earlier this year in February, Kenny filed a $10 million lawsuit against Cutera, a skin care company who allegedly used her face in their advertisements for acne treatment without her permission.
But now, the supermodel has dropped that lawsuit without prejudice.
KJ didn’t take too kindly to Cutera running a massive billboard campaign featuring her pimple free face and the claim the “Acne Completely Ruined Kendall Jenner’s self esteem”. Then attributing her smooth complexion to Laser Genesis treatment for acne.
Kendall reported that she had never made such a deal with the company, and if she had, it would have been worth well into the eight figures.
The lawsuit argued that because Kendall's face has been used on the cover of almost every magazine cover under the sun and the fact that she is currently the face of Estee Lauder means that her likeness is worth a certain amount of money.
She didn't deny the claims that she has struggled with acne-related self esteem issues, as she has publicly written this on her app: 'It completely ruined my self-esteem... I wouldn't even look at people when I talked to them. I felt like such an outcast; when I spoke, it was with my hand covering my face.' But she did state that she wasn't paid for the use of her face.
While Cutera hadn't properly responded in public about the allegations, it seems that they may not have to now, because Kendall has dropped the lawsuit. At this stage, there has been no explanation why.
