Cara Delevingne has caused a bit of a scene trying to board the Eurostar to Paris from London for her sister Poppy’s birthday.
The Sun, UK reports that the 23-year-old model was pulled aside for a random security check and (yeah it’s totally a drag when it happens) but Cara went straight into full-blown DIVA mode.
Onlookers reported that Cara acted like a “spoiled brat” and just erupted into a furious rage, shouting and verbally abusing the security staff. As Cara unleashed a four-letter meltdown on the staff, she also allegedly dropped to her knees pretending to pray that she would be allowed to board! #DESPO.
Delevingne then reportedly started using her phone, despite signs saying its not allowed and ignored instructions to put it away. She screamed "f**k you at one female stuff member.
Staff detained Cara for an hour in an interrogation room, giving her sufficient time to cool out! She reportedly emerged from the interrogation room looking as if she had been crying. Cara had to pay a fine for verbal abuse, but she also apologised to the staff and eventually boarded the train.
An onlooker said: “It was a full-on meltdown in the middle of security. There were at least 20 people around and she didn’t seem to care who saw. It was like she thought she didn’t have to abide by the same rules as everyone else just because she’s famous.”
“Cara was with a friend who was trying to calm her down, but it wasn’t working. She shouted ‘let him do his f**king job, it’s ridiculous’. She got down on her knees and put her hands together as if she was praying for the whole thing to be over. It was bizarre.”
Despite the drama, diva Delevingne joined her family and a string of celebs to celebrate her sister Poppy’s 30th birthday just hours later.
At least the trip to Disneyland Palace seemed worth it. Cara captioned the following post on her Insta,
"This is very embarrassing but too funny not to post. Why am I the only one dancing??? I think the sugar really went to my head 😅"
