She’s got the face of an actual angel, the kind of perfectly tousled hair that us mere mortals can only achieve with a two-hour hairdresser session, AND she’s engaged to one of the most successful movie stars in the world, Jason Statham. But it really wouldn’t be fair to hate Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, because she’s got a wicked Brit humour and the kind of down-to-earth attitude that you rarely see in her industry. She’s our girl crush and we’re not afraid to say it. RHW forever.
Foundation, blush, mascara and lip balm.
“Gone are the days of leaving the house with no makeup on,” she says. “But I love makeup. I don’t wear a tonne of it, but I will always have a little foundation on. I’m a big fan of Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua. It’s a really natural foundation, so it just gives me a simple coverage.”
“I put on Laura Mercier Rosebud Blush and a little bit of YSL Baby Doll Mascara, and a little bit of Eve Lom Lip Balm, and that suits me for the day, really.” We don’t even think you need that, Rosie, you gift from above.
Rosie says go hard with a red lip or go hard with liner, but not both. “I feel sexy and empowered when I’m wearing red lipstick. I also like to be tanned, as it gives me a confidence boost – I’m all about a sunless glow. If your eyes are a favourite feature, add a little liner and go with strong lashes. If you love your lips, layer on a bright colour. Don’t do it all at once.”
Jenner claw-free zone
Rosie says she prefers to “always keep nails in a natural colour”. Her favourite is JINsoon Nostalgia.
Hard work and lots of it (kind of makes us feel better).
There is a god: Rosie works out all year round. “I’m a fitness fanatic. It’s where everything starts for me,” she says. And in news we can all relate too, she does have a “problem” area. “My bum!” she says.
“I have really defined muscles in my arms – almost too defined – so I leave them alone completely. But I wish my bum had the same problem.” She does everything from kickboxing to yoga, but right now she’s into Body by Simone, which is a high-powered dance class.
Boiled eggs for breakfast.
She eats super clean. “At home, I eat clean, organic, simple. And when I got out with friends, I enjoy myself. Here at home, in the morning, I might have some boiled eggs or sprouts with toast, with a green juice. Or I might have some scrambled eggs with spinach. Plenty of water through the whole day. And then at lunch and dinner, it’s about a piece of protein – white fish, turkey, chicken. And lots of vegetables. Pretty simple. But, you know, then I’ll go out and eat dinner and have loads of roast potatoes at Madeo. It’s all balance.” So, definitely no pizza then?
